दरम्यान माझ्या कुटुंबावर महात्मा गांधी, पंडित जवाहरलाल नेहरु, सरदार वल्लभभाई पटेल यांच्या विचारांचा प्रभाव आहे. आपल्याला संविधान आणि लोकशाही या दोन महत्वाच्या गोष्टी मिळाल्या आहेत. बॉलिव़ू़डमधून अनेक कलाकार राजकारणात प्रवेश करतात. तुम्ही माझ्या काँग्रेस प्रवेशाकडे त्याच दृष्टीकोनातून पाहू नका. मी निवडणुकीसाठी काँग्रेसमध्ये प्रवेश केलेला नाही. असं मत त्यांनी प्रवेशदरम्यान केलं होत.
\nमागील काही दिवसांपूर्वी त्यांनी पक्षाला एक पत्र पाठवले होते. त्या पत्राची काहीच दाखल घेतली नसल्याने देखील त्या नाराज असल्याचे बोलले जात होते. तसेच पक्षांतर्गत सुरु असणारे राजकारण याला कंटाळल्याने त्यांनी हा राजीनामा दिला असल्याची माहिती समोर येत आहे.
