विद्यापीठ अनुदान आयोगाने (यूजीसी) १३ जानेवारी रोजी देशभरातील विद्यापीठे आणि महाविद्यालयांमध्ये यूजीसी नियम २०२६ लागू केले. नवीन नियमांमध्ये विशेषत: एससी, एसटी आणि ओबीसी विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी इक्विटी कमिटी, इक्विटी स्क्वॉड्स, २४x७ हेल्पलाइन आणि कडक देखरेखीची आवश्यकता आहे.
