यंदा २०२५ सालासाठी मेट गालाची थीम ‘सुपरफाईन: टेलरिंग ब्लॅक स्टाइल’आहे, जी काळ्या फॅशन वारशानं प्रेरित आहे. कार्यक्रमाच्या ड्रेस कोडबद्दल सांगायचं झालं तर, ‘टेलर्ड फॉर यू’वर आधारित आहे.
\nदरवर्षी मे महिन्याच्या पहिल्या सोमवारपासून हा सोहळा सुरु होतो. याला “फॅशनचा ऑस्कर” असंही म्हटलं जातं. इथे जगातील सगळ्यात मोठे कलाकार, डिझायनर्स, आणि सेलेब्रिटी उपस्थित राहतात.

दरम्यान, २०१७ पासून या फॅशन इव्हेंटमध्ये भारतीय सेलिब्रिटी सहभागी होत आहेत. मेट गालासाठी पाहुण्यांची यादी Vogue संपादक आणि टीमकडून तयार केली जाते. दरवर्षी ६०० जणांची यादी तयार करण्यात येते. ज्यामध्ये सेलिब्रिटींना निमंत्रण पाठवले जाते.
\nयात एखाद्या प्रसिद्ध सेलेब्सच्या गर्लफ्रेंड किंवा बॉयफ्रेंडलाही आमंत्रण देण्यात येते. या इव्हेंटमध्ये अनेक बॉलीवूड, हॉलीवूडचे सेलेब्रिटी सहभागी होत आहेत. एक गोष्ट तुम्हाला माहित का? शाहरुख खानची मेट गालामध्ये हजेरी लावण्याची ही पहिलीच वेळ होती.
\nतसंच दिलजीत दोसांझ आणि कियारा अडवाणीनेही पहिल्यांदाच सोहळ्यामध्ये सहभाग घेतला. किंग खानने डिझायनर सब्यसाची मुखर्जी यांनी डिझाईन केलेला आऊटफिट परिधान केला होता.
