अल् जझीरेचे तेहरान प्रतिनिधी मोहम्मद वल यांनी सांगितले की, या हल्ल्यांमुळे “आम्ही केवळ लष्करी लक्ष्यांवरच हल्ले करतो” या अमेरिका व इस्रायलच्या दाव्यांवर प्रश्नचिन्ह निर्माण झाले आहे. अमेरिकेचे अध्यक्ष ट्रम्प यांनी इराणी जनतेला मदतीचे आश्वासन दिले होते; मात्र नागरिकांचे बळी जाणे हे आंतरराष्ट्रीय कायद्याचे उल्लंघन असल्याचा मुद्दा इराण सरकार आंतरराष्ट्रीय व्यासपीठावर जोरकसपणे मांडेल, असे वल यांनी नमूद केले. शाळांवरील हल्ल्यांबाबत अमेरिका किंवा इस्रायलकडून तत्काळ कोणतीही प्रतिक्रिया आलेली नाही.

\nउल्लेखनीय म्हणजे, जून २०२५ मध्ये अमेरिका व इस्रायलने इराणवर केलेल्या हल्ल्यांत झालेल्या १२ दिवसांच्या युद्धातही नागरिकांची मोठी जीवितहानी झाली होती. इराणच्या आरोग्य मंत्रालयाच्या माहितीनुसार, त्या संघर्षात हजारो नागरिक मृत्युमुखी पडले होते किंवा जखमी झाले होते आणि सार्वजनिक पायाभूत सुविधांचेही मोठे नुकसान झाले होते.
