\nकेंद्रीय क्रीडा मंत्री अनुराग ठाकूर यांच्यासोबत रात्री उशिरा झालेल्या मॅरेथॉन बैठकीनंतर कुस्तीपटू बजरंग पुनिया म्हणाले, “क्रीडामंत्र्यांनी आमच्या मागण्या ऐकल्या आणि योग्य तपासाचं आश्वासन दिलं. मी त्यांचे आभार मानतो आणि आम्हाला आशा आहे की, या प्रकरणाची निष्पक्ष चौकशी होईल, म्हणून आम्ही सध्या आंदोलन मागे घेत आहोत.”
\nशुक्रवारी भारतीय कुस्ती महासंघाचे अध्यक्ष बृजभूषण शरण सिंह यांच्यावरील लैंगिक शोषणाच्या आरोपांची चौकशी करण्यासाठी भारतीय ऑलिम्पिक संघटनेने सात सदस्यीय समिती स्थापन केली होती. या समितीच्या सदस्यांमध्ये मेरी कोम, योगेश्वर दत्त, डोला बॅनर्जी, अलकनंदा अशोक, सहदेव यादव आणि दोन वकिलांचा समावेश करण्यात आला आहे.
