“हिम्मत असेल, तर माझे पाय छाटण्याचा तुम्ही नक्की प्रयत्न करून पाहा. धमक्यांना घाबरणारा असतो तर मी माझ्या गावात लपून बसलो असतो. जर मी म्हणत असेन की कामराज हे भारताचे सर्वोत्तम नेत्यांपैकी एक आहेत. तर याचा अर्थ असा होतो का की ते तमिळ राहिले नाहीत? त्याचप्रमाणे मी जर म्हणतोय की मुंबई हे एक आंतरराष्ट्रीय शहर आहे. तर त्याचा अर्थ असा होतो का की महाराष्ट्रातील लोकांनी मुंबई उभी केलेली नाही?” अशा शब्दांत अनामलाई यांनी राज यांच्या टीकेला उत्तर दिले.
\nदरम्यान, “काल परवा तामिळनाडूतून रसमलाई आली होती. तो सांगतो मुंबई आणि महाराष्ट्राचा संबंध काय? भ*व्या तुझा काय संबंध येथे यायचा,” असा सवाल राज ठाकरे यांनी सभेत केला होता.
\nअनामलाई मुंबईत काय म्हणाले होते?
\nभाजपा नेते के. अनामलाई म्हणाले होते, “मुंबई हे देशातील एकमेव असं शहर आहे जिथे ट्रिपल इंजिन सरकार शक्य आहे. केंद्रात मोदी, राज्यात देवेंद्र आणि बीएमसीमध्ये भाजपा महापौर असेल. कारण बॉम्बे महाराष्ट्रातलं शहर नाही तर आंतरराष्ट्रीय शहर आहे. या शहराचे बजेट ७५ हजार कोटी असून ही लहान रक्कम नाही. चेन्नईचे बजेट ८ हजार कोटी तर बंगळुरू १९ हजार कोटी आहे. त्यामुळे तुम्हाला अशा माणसांची गरज आहे जे आर्थिक नियोजन करून प्रशासन चांगले सांभाळतील.” त्यांच्या या विधानावरुन राजकीय वर्तुळात वाद निर्माण झाला आहे.
