आप नेत्यांनी केलेल्या आरोपावर स्पष्टीकरण देताना चड्ढा म्हणाले की, हे सर्व आरोप म्हणजे धादांत खोटं आहे. संसदेत सर्वत्र सीसीटीव्ही कॅमेरे आहेत, अशा एखाद्या घटनेचे फुटेज दाखवावे जिथे मी विरोधी पक्षांसोबत बाहेर पडलो नाही, असे आव्हान त्यांनी पक्षाला दिले.
\nनिवडणूक आयुक्तांविरुद्धच्या नोटिशीवर स्वाक्षरी करण्याबाबत मला कोणत्याही नेत्याने साधे विचारलेही नव्हते, तसेच पक्षाच्या इतरही अनेक खासदारांनी त्यावर स्वाक्षरी केलेली नाही, मग मलाच का लक्ष्य केले जात आहे? असा सवाल त्यांनी उपस्थित केला.

आपल्या कामाचा पाढा वाचताना चड्ढा म्हणाले की, त्यांनी संसदेत नेहमीच पंजाबचे पाणी, दिल्लीतील वायू प्रदूषण, सरकारी शाळांची दुरावस्था, रेल्वे प्रवाशांच्या समस्या, जीएसटी, महागाई आणि बेरोजगारी यांसारख्या सामान्य माणसाशी निगडित मुद्द्यांवर आवाज उठवला आहे.
\nसंसदेचे कामकाज करदात्यांच्या पैशावर चालते, तिथे जाऊन आरडाओरडा करणे, माईक तोडणे किंवा शिवीगाळ करणे हा माझा स्वभाव नाही. मला संसदेत गोंधळ नाही, तर कामातून प्रभाव निर्माण करायचा आहे, असे ते म्हणाले.
