“भाजपाला सत्तेपासून बाहेर ठेवण्यासाठी आम्ही काहीही करू. कर्नाटकच्या हितासाठी माझे वडील राज्याचे मुख्यमंत्री व्हायला हवेत. काँग्रेसला राज्यात स्पष्ट बहुमत मिळणार आहे. शिवाय वरुणा मतदारसंघातून माझे वडीलही निवडून येतील”, असं यतिंद्र सिद्धरामय्या म्हणाले आहेत.
\nकर्नाटकमधील २२४ जागांसाठी मतदान पार पडलं असून बहुमतासाठी ११३ जागा मिळवणं कोणत्याही पक्षासाठी आवश्यक आहे. कर्नाटकमध्ये २०१८ साली झालेल्या २२२ विधानसभा मतदारसंघाच्या निवडणुकीत भाजपाने १०४ जागा मिळवत कर्नाटकमध्ये सर्वात मोठा पक्ष ठरला होता. तरी बहुमतापासून त्यांना दूर राहावे लागले. काँग्रेसने ७८ तर जेडीएसने ३७ जागा मिळवल्या होत्या. तर बहुजन समाज पक्ष १, कर्नाटक प्रज्ञावंत जनता पार्टी १ आणि अपक्ष १ असे इतर उमेदवार निवडून आले होते. बहुमताचा आकडा ११२ असल्यामुळे २०१८ साली विधानसभा त्रिशंकू झाली होती.
