पूर्व लडाखमधील गलवान खोऱ्यात काल चीन आणि भारतीय सैनिकांमध्ये चकमक झाल्यानंतर दोन्ही देशांदरम्यान तणावाचे वातावरण निर्माण झाले असतानाच आज याबाबतची मोठी माहिती समोर आली आहे. काल चीनसोबत झालेल्या या चकमकीत एकूण २० भारतीय जवान शहीद झाल्याची माहिती समोर आली आहे.

सोमवारी रात्री भारत आणि चीनचे सैनिक एकमेकांसमोर आले होते. यावेळी दोन्ही सैन्यांमध्ये झटापट झाली होती. यामध्ये एक अधिकारी आणि दोन जवान शहीद झाल्याचे वृत्त होते.

मात्र कालच्या चकमकीत जखमी झालेले १७ जवान देखील आज शहीद झाल्याने एकूण संख्या २० झाल्याचं भारतीय लष्कराने सांगितलं आहे. याबाबतची माहिती एनआय या नामांकित वृत्तसंस्थेने सरकारी सूत्रांच्या हवाल्याने दिली आहे.

एनआयला सुत्रांकरवी मिळालेल्या माहितीनुसार या चकमकीत चीनचे जवानही मृत्यूमुखी पडलेले असून गंभीर जखमी झाले आहेत. ही संख्या ४३ इतकी असल्याचं एनआयने म्हंटले आहे. भारतीय लष्कराने मात्र याबाबत आपल्याकडे अधिकृत माहिती नसल्याचं म्हटलंय.
