या भीषण आगीमधून अनेकांना वाचवण्यात अग्निशमन दलाला यश आले आहे. आगीवर नियंत्रण मिळवण्यासाठी अग्निशमन दलाचे 30 बंब घटनास्थळावर होते. घटनास्थळी अग्निशामक दलाचे जवान मोठ्या संख्येने उपस्थित असून अडकलेल्या लोकांना बाहेर काढण्याचे काम युद्ध पातळीवर सुरु असल्याचे अग्निशमन दलाच्या आधिकाऱ्याने सांगितले आहे.
\nस्थानिक प्रसारमाध्यमांच्या वृत्तानुसार, फॅक्ट्रीमध्ये सकाळी कामगार गाढ झोपले असताना अचानक आगीचा तांडव झाला. अनेकांचा आगीच्या धुरामुळे गुदमरून मृत्यू झाला. या दुर्घेटनेत मृत्यू झालेले कामगार बिहार आणि उत्तरप्रदेशमधील आहेत. पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी, दिल्लीचे मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल आणि केंद्रीय गृहमंत्री अमित शाह यांनी ट्विट करत या दुर्घेटनेबाबत दुख: व्यक्त केले आहे. ही खुपच दुख:द घटना घडली, मदत आणि बचावकार्य सुरू असल्याचे केजरीवाल यांनी ट्विट करत म्हटले आहे.
