स्थानिकांच्या माहितीनुसार, बडोद्यातील बावानानपूरा येथील काम सुरू असलेली तीन मजली इमारत कोसळली. सर्वप्रथम ही इमारत एका बाजूला झुकली होती. लोकांनी याबाबत त्याची तक्रारही केली. परंतु प्रशासनाकडून यावर कोणतीही कारवाई करण्यात आली नाही. अखेर सोमवारी मध्यरात्री अचानक ही इमारत कोसळली.
\nदरम्यान, महिनाभरापूर्वीही अहमदाबादमध्ये एक व्यावसायिक इमारत कोसळली होती. त्यामध्येही एका व्यक्तीचा मृत्यू झाल्याची माहिती समोर आली होती.
