उपसभापती गोऱ्हे म्हणाल्या, “जगातील ज्या विद्यापीठांमध्ये याआधीच समन्वय झालेला आहे, तिथे तो समन्वय अधिक मजबूत व्हावा तसेच त्या विद्यापीठांमध्ये आणि आपल्याकडील विद्यापीठात मराठी भाषेच्या बरोबरच इतिहास, विज्ञान, गणित, शेती या विषयी शिक्षणाच्या पद्धती अशा अनेक विषयांच्या अनुभवाची देवाणघेवाण आणि विचार मंथन होण्यासाठी प्रयत्न करणे गरजेचे आहे”.

ज्याप्रमाणे आपण आपल्या आवडीनुसार कपडे खरेदी करतो, विविध उपहारगृहांत वेगवेगळ्या खाद्यपदार्थांची चव चाखतो, त्याप्रमाणे आपण मराठी भाषेचा अधिकाधिक वापर होण्यासाठी नवनवीन लेखकांची पुस्तके खरेदी करुन वाचावीत. पालकांनी मुलांना वाचनाची आवड निर्माण करण्यासाठी प्रयत्न करावेत.

जगातील अनेक देशांमध्ये मराठी जोपासण्यासाठी विविध उपक्रम राबविणारी मंडळे आहेत. मराठी वृद्धिंगत होण्यासाठी अमेरिका, रशिया, जर्मनी अशा विविध देशात काम सुरू आहे. आपल्या राज्यातही शासनाच्यावतीने उपक्रम राबविले जातात, असे उपसभापती गोऱ्हे यांनी सांगितले.
