अदानी समूहाने एनडीटीव्हीचे मालकी हक्क घेण्याची प्रक्रिया काही दिवसांपूर्वीच पूर्ण झाली. त्यानंतर प्रणॉय रॉय आणि राधिका रॉय राजीनामा देणार असल्याची चर्चा सुरू झाली होती. मात्र, त्याबाबत अधिकृत भूमिका समोर येत नव्हती. अखेर बुधवारी त्या दोघांनीही राजीनामा दिल्यानंतर रवीश कुमार यांनीही राजीनामा दिल्याचे एनडीटीव्हीकडून स्पष्ट करण्यात आले आहे.
\nरवीश कुमार हे गोल्या २६ वर्षांपासून एनडीटीव्हीशी संलग्न होते. १९९६ साली पहिल्यांदा त्यांचा एनडीटीव्हीशी संपर्क आला. तेव्हापासून त्यांनी आपली पत्रकारिता आणि वृत्तांकनाच्या माध्यमातून समाजातून मोठा पाठिंबा मिळवला. सामान्यांचे प्रश्न मांडण्याची त्यांची हातोटी विशेषत: तरुणांमध्ये प्रचंड चर्चेचा विषय ठरली होती. ‘रवीश की रिपोर्ट’ किंवा ‘प्राईम टाईम’ शोच्या माध्यमातून त्यांनी अनेक महत्त्वाच्या मुद्द्यांना वाचा फोडली.
