करण जोहर म्हणाला की, ‘मी फक्त १२ वर्षांचा असताना अमृताला भेटलो. त्यांनी माझ्या वडिलांसोबत आणि धर्मा प्रॉडक्शनसोबत ‘दुनिया’ नावाचा चित्रपट केला आणि त्यांची कृपा, ऊर्जा आणि कॅमेऱ्यावरील प्रभुत्व मला चांगले आठवते. त्यांनी ती भूमिका पूर्ण उर्जेने बजावली. करणने पुढे लिहिले की, आमच्या पहिल्या भेटीनंतर मला सर्वात जास्त आठवते ती म्हणजे मी तिच्या आणि तिच्या हेअरस्टायलिस्टसोबत जेवलो ते सर्वात आश्चर्यकारक चायनीज डिनर आणि नंतर जेम्स बाँड चित्रपट पाहणे. त्यावेळी अमृताने मला हे जाणवू दिले नाही की आपण पहिल्यांदाच भेटत आहोत आणि तिची मुलेही तिच्यासारखीच आहेत.

\nकरण जोहरने पुढे लिहिले की, तो सैफला पहिल्यांदा आनंद महिंद्राच्या ऑफिसमध्ये भेटला होता, त्यावेळी तो खूप तरुण आणि आकर्षक दिसत होता. त्याच्यासोबत अनेक चित्रपट केले आहेत. त्याने अमृतासोबत ‘दुनिया’ आणि ‘कल हो ना हो’, सैफसोबत ‘कुर्बान’ आणि सारासोबत ‘सिम्बा’ हे चित्रपट केले आहेत. जरी अजून बरेच चित्रपट यायचे आहेत!!
मी या कुटुंबाला ४० वर्षांपासून ओळखतो. चित्रपट त्याच्या रक्तात, त्याच्या अनुवांशिकतेत आणि त्याच्या आवडीत आहेत. तर आता इब्राहिम अली लवकरच मोठ्या पडद्यावर तुमच्या हृदयात स्थान निर्माण करण्यासाठी येत आहे. खरं तर, याआधीही करणने अनेक स्टार किड्स लाँच केले आहेत. त्यापैकी सर्वात यशस्वी म्हणजे आलिया भट्ट. इब्राहिमही अशीच भावना निर्माण करू शकेल का? हे पाहणे महत्वाचे आहे.
