इतिहासात पहिल्यांदाच स्वातंत्र्यदिनाच्या मुहूर्तावर काश्मीरमधील सर्व शाळांमध्ये तिरंगा झेंडा फडकावण्याचे आदेश केंद्र सरकारकडून देण्यात आले आहेत.
\nयावरूनच स्वातंत्र्य दिनाच्या शुभेच्छा देताना महाराष्ट्र भाजपचे सहप्रभारी जयभानसिंह पवैया यांचे ट्विट चांगलेच चर्चेत आले आहे. ‘आज काश्मीरच्या शिखरांवर तिरंगा पूर्ण सन्मानाने फडकू लागला आहे. हे भारत माते, आम्हा अशी शक्ती आणि युक्ती दे की एक 15 ऑगस्ट लाहोरच्या किल्ल्यावरसुद्धा वंदे मातरम ऐकू येईल आणि अखंड भारताचं स्वप्न पूर्ण होईल.’ अशा शब्दांत भाजप नेते जयभान सिंह पवैया यांनी स्वातंत्र्यदिनाच्या शुभेच्छा दिल्या आहे त्यांचे ट्विटमुळे सोशलवर चांगलेच वातावरण तापले आहे.
\nदरम्यान, देशाची फाळणी हा एक भयावह अनुभव आहे. ही फाळणी विसरताच येणार नाही. आपल्या लक्षावधी बंधु भगिणींना त्यामुळे स्थलांतर करावे लागले. द्वेषाच्या वातावरणामुळे जो हिंसाचार झाला त्यात अनेकांना आपले प्राण गमवावे लागले आहेत, असे नमूद करून पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी 14 ऑगस्ट हा दिवस फाळणीच्या भयावह अनुभवाचा स्मृती दिन म्हणून पाळला जावा असे प्रतिपादन पंतप्रधानांनी केले आहे. पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनीही 14 ऑगस्टला फाळणीच्या कटू स्मृतींची आठवण करून दिली आहे. मोदी या दिवशी चांगलेच भावुक झाले आहेत.
