वादग्रस्त व्हिडिओ बघितल्यानंतर असे लक्षात येतेकी रामदेव बाबा ओबीसी समाजाबाबत वादग्रस्त विधान करत आहे. या व्हिडिओ ते पहिले स्वःताला ब्राह्मण समजत आहे त्यानंतर ओबीसी म्हणत आहे या व्हिडिओवर वाद निर्माण झाल्यानंतर त्यांनी अप्लाय भूमिका स्पष्ट केली आहे. ते पुढे म्हणाले माझ्या विधानांचा चुकीचा अर्थाने व्हायरल केले जात आहे. मी त्यावेळी ओवैसी म्हटले होते ओबीसी नाही. मी त्यांचे (ओवेसी) वंशज देशद्रोही होते. मी त्यांना गांभीर्याने घेत नाही. असे म्हणालो होतो मी ओबीसी समाजाबद्दल काहीही बोललो नाही. दरम्यान, व्हिडिओ व्हायरल झाल्यानंतर अनेकांनी सोशल मीडियावर ‘#boycottpatanjali’ लिहून निषेध केला आणि मागासलेल्या समाजाचा अपमान केल्याबद्दल बाबा रामदेव यांच्यावर टीका केली.
