नवी दिल्ली – अयोध्येतील वादग्रस्त जमीन ही हिंदुंची असल्याचे सांगत ही जागा हिंदूंना देण्याचे आदेश तर अयोध्येतच पर्यायी ५ एकर जागा मुस्लिमांना मशिद बांधण्यासाठी देण्याचा ऐतिहासिक निर्णय सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने आज दिला आहे. तिहेरी तलाक बंद व काश्‍मीरचा विशेष दर्जा रद्द, आणि आता राम मंदिराच्या निकालानंतर मोदी सरकारची पुढील वाटचाल समान नागरी कायद्याकडे असण्याची शक्यता आहे. तसे मागणीही नेटकऱ्यांनी केली आहे. ट्विटरवरही सध्या युनिफॉर्म सिव्हिल कोड ट्रेंड झाला आहे.

निवडणुकीवेळी तिहेरी तलाक, कलम 370, अयोध्येत राम मंदिर आणि समान नागरी कायदा हे भाजपाचे मुख्य मुद्दे आहेत. पण, गेल्या काही दशकांपासून ते प्रत्यक्षात येणे ही भाजपासाठी अशक्‍य कोटीतील गोष्ट वाटत होती. मात्र, यातील तीन मुद्दे पूर्ण झाल्यामुळे समान नागरी कायदा पुन्हा चर्चेत येऊ लागला आहे. लवकरच देशात समान नागरी कायद्याची अंमलबजावणी होईल असे भाकितही नेटकरी वर्तवत आहेत.

मध्यंतरी, सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाही समान नागरी कायदावर टिप्पणी केली होती. समान नागरी कायदा लागू करण्यासाठी देशात आतापर्यंत कोणताच प्रयत्न करण्यात आला नसल्याची खंतही सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने व्यक्त केली होती. दरम्यान, समान नागरी कायदा समानतेला न्याय देणारा असला तरी विविधतेने नटलेल्या विशाल भारतभूमीत हा कायदा लागू करणे सरकारसाठी आव्हान असणार आहे.
