बॉलिवूड अभिनेते अमिताभ बच्चन यांनी ट्वीट करत दिलीप कुमार यांना श्रद्धांजली वाहिली आहे. “जेव्हा भारतीय सिनेमाचा इतिहास लिहिला जाईल, तेव्हा तो ‘दिलीप कुमार यांच्या आधी आणि दिलीपकुमार यांच्यानंतर’ असा लिहिला जाईल. त्यांच्या आत्म्यास शांती मिळो” या आशयाचे ट्वीट करत अमिताभ बच्चन यांनी श्रद्धांजली वाहिली आहे.

दिलीप कुमार यांना श्वसनाचा त्रास होत असल्यामुळे जून महिन्यात रुग्णालयात दाखल करावे लागले होते. बायलॅटरल प्लुरल इफ्युजनमुळे त्यांना आयसीयूमध्ये हलवण्यात आले होते. त्यावेळी सायरा बानो यांनी दिलीप कुमार यांचा रुग्णालयातील फोटोदेखील शेअर करत त्यांची प्रकृती स्थिर असल्याची माहिती दिली होती.
\nउपचारानंतर पाच दिवसांनी दिलीप कुमार यांना डिस्चार्ज देण्यात आला होता. मात्र श्वसनाचा त्रास होत असल्याने त्यांना पुन्हा एकदा रुग्णालयात दाखल करावे लागले होते. आज सकाळी ७.३० वाजता दिलीप कुमार यांनी अखेरचा श्वास घेतला.
