सौरव गांगुली यांना हॉस्पिटलमधून सुट्टी दिल्यानंतर, नियमितपणे त्यांच्या घरी त्यांच्यावर लक्ष ठेवले जाईल, अशी माहिती हॉस्पिटल प्रशासनाने दिली आहे.

दरम्यान, सौरव गांगुली यांना ३ जानेवारी रोजी सकाळी जिममध्ये व्यायाम करताना छातीत दुखू लागल्याने हॉस्पिटलमध्ये दाखल करण्यात आले होते. त्यांच्या हदयाला रक्तपुरवठा करणाऱ्या तीन रक्तवाहिन्यांमध्ये ब्लॉकेज आढळले होते. त्यांच्यावर अँजिओप्लास्टी करण्यात आली आहे.
\nगांगुली हे राजकारणात प्रवेश करून भाजपचा मुख्यमंत्रीपदाचा चेहरा म्हणून त्यांना पश्चिम बंगालच्या निवडणुकीत पुढे केले जाण्याची शक्यता वर्तवली जात असल्याने ते अचानक आजारी पडण्याच्या घटनेची बरीच चर्चा झाली आहे.
