प्रवेश सोहळ्यात बोलताना सुनील तटकरे यांनी शेडगे यांचे स्वागत केले. ते म्हणाले, समीर शेडगे यांच्या भविष्यातील राजकीय वाटचालीसाठी मनःपूर्वक शुभेच्छा. तसेच या पक्षप्रवेशामुळे रोहा तालुक्यात राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेस पार्टीची ताकद अधिक वाढणार आहे. तसेच आदिती तटकरे यांनीही शेडगे यांच्या निर्णयाचे कौतुक केले आणि कार्यकर्त्यांना एकजुटीने काम करण्याचे आवाहन केले.
