मुलाखतीत प्रियाला बाळाबद्दलच विचारण्यात आलेल्या प्रश्नाला कसा हाताळतेस असे विचारण्यात आले. त्यावर प्रिया म्हणाली की, ‘तुमचं लग्न झालं असेल आणि तुम्हाला बाळ असेल तरंच तुमचं आयुष्य पूर्ण होतं, असं लोकांना का वाटतं? असा सवाल तिने केला. ज्या जोडप्याला मुलं नकोत आणि ते जोडपे आनंदी आहेत, तेव्हासुद्धा त्यांचं आयुष्य पूर्ण होत, असे वाटत असल्याचे प्रियाने म्हटले.
\nसोशल मीडियावर जेव्हा आम्ही कपल फोटो शेअर करतो तेव्हा बाळाबद्दल कमेंट्स असतात. उमेशच्या फोटोवर या कमेंट्स नसतात, अर्थात मी महिला असल्याने ही अपेक्षा माझ्याकडून आहे. पण मला जेव्हा वाटेल की बाळ हवंय, तेव्हा मी करेन, जर मला बाळ नको असेल तर मी नाही करणार असेही प्रियाने स्पष्ट म्हटले.
\nप्रिया बापटच्या वर्क फ्रंटबाबत सांगायचे झाल्यास, ‘जर तरची गोष्ट’च्या निमित्ताने अभिनेत्रीने जवळपास १० वर्षांनी रंगभूमीवर पुनरागमन केलं आहे. यामध्ये प्रियासह उमेश कामत, पल्लवी अजय व आशुतोष गोखले यांच्या प्रमुख भूमिका आहेत. या नाटकाचे दिग्दर्शन अद्वैत दादरकर आणि रणजित पाटील यांनी केले आहे. ‘जर तरची गोष्ट’ या नाटकात प्रिया बापट, उमेश कामतसह आशुतोष गोखले, पल्लवी अजय हे कलाकारही असणार आहेत.
