\nभाजपच्या आरोपानंतर नोमानी यांनी आपल्या स्पष्टीकरणात आपल्यावर केलेले आरोप चुकीचे असल्याचे म्हटले आहे. अनेक उमेदवारांना भेटण्याची संधी मिळाली. ते माझ्याकडे येत आहेत, आम्ही ठराव घेऊन काही लोकांकडून लेखी ठराव घेतला आहे. मग आम्ही यादी तयार केली. त्यामुळे हे मत जिहाद आहे आणि मुस्लिमांना हिंदूंच्या विरोधात एकत्र केले जात आहे, अशी भूमिका देणे म्हणजे पूर्ण खोटे आणि फसवणूक आहे.
\nनोमानी म्हणाले, “काल मी एका यूट्यूब चॅनलवर दिलेल्या मुलाखतीतही सांगितले होते की, हा कोणत्या प्रकारचा वोट जिहाद आहे, कोणाचा कमांडर शरद पवाह आहे, ज्यांच्या सर्वोच्च सैनिकांमध्ये उद्धव ठाकरे, राहुल गांधी, नानाजी पटोले यांचा समावेश आहे.” मला आशा आहे की हा गैरसमज दूर होईल.
