\nबिहारमध्ये 6 वाजून 40 वाजता भूकंपाचे हादरे जाणवल्याची नोंद झाली आहे. येथील भूकंपाची तीव्रता रिश्टर स्केलवर 5.1 इतकी मोजण्यात आली. समस्तीपूर, मोतिहारीसह अनेक भागात सकाळी 6.40 वाजता भूकंपाचे हादरे जाणवले. 5 ते 10 सेकंद बिहारमध्ये भूकंपाचे हादरे जाणवत होते. भूकंप इतका जोरदार होता की लोक घाबरून घराबाहेर पळाले.

\nयुनायटेड स्टेट्स जिओलॉजिकल सर्व्हेनुसार, नेपाळ-तिबेट सीमेजवळ लोबुचेच्या 93 किलोमीटर ईशान्येला सकाळी 6:35 वाजता भूकंप झाला. त्याची तीव्रता 7.1 रिश्टर स्केल इतकी होती. सकाळी 6:35 वाजता आलेल्या भूकंपाने नेपाळचा बहुतांश भाग हादरला. याचा तिबेट प्रदेश तसेच नेपाळच्या पूर्व ते मध्य प्रदेशाला मोठा फटका बसला आहे.
\nया भूकंपाचे धक्के काठमांडूपर्यंत जाणवले. पहाटे झालेल्या भूकंपाच्या धक्क्यानंतर काठमांडूचे लोक घराबाहेर पडले. मात्र भूकंपामुळे येथे काय आणि किती नुकसान झाले याबाबत कोणतीही माहिती समोर आलेली नाही. Earthquake |
