या घटनेवरून राष्ट्रीय जनता दलाने (RJD) निवडणूक आयोगाला लक्ष्य केले आहे. “एव्हीएम आणि VVPAT स्लिप्स रस्त्यावर कशा आणि का फेकल्या गेल्या?” असा सवाल करत आरजेडीने लोकशाहीच्या पावित्र्यावर प्रश्नचिन्ह उभे केले आहे. आरजेडीने EVM स्ट्रॉंगरूमच्या सुरक्षेची मागणी केली आहे.
