आरसीबीकडून यष्टिरक्षक फलंदाज ऋचा घोषने एकतर्फी झुंज दिली. ऋचाने अवघ्या ५० चेंडूत ९० धावांची तुफानी खेळी केली. तिने आरसीबीला विजयाच्या उंबरठ्यावर नेण्याचा आटोकाट प्रयत्न केला, मात्र दुसऱ्या टोकाकडून अपेक्षित साथ न मिळाल्याने आरसीबीला २० षटकांत ९ बाद १८४ धावांपर्यंतच मजल मारता आली.
