सामना संपल्यानंतर अर्शदीप सिंगने आपल्या वागण्याबद्दल डॅरिल मिचेलची माफी मागितली आणि दोघांनी हस्तांदोलनही केले. भारतीय संघाने या सामन्यात न्यूझीलंडचा ९६ धावांनी पराभव करत जेतेपद उंचावले, मात्र अर्शदीपसाठी ही कारवाई एक छोटासा डाग ठरली आहे.
