संजय शर्मा यांच्यावर दहशतवाद्यांनी गोळीबार केला आणि घटनास्थळावरून पळ काढला. संजय शर्मा यांना तातडीने जवळच्या रुग्णालयात नेण्यात आले, मात्र त्यांचा मृत्यू झाला.माहितीनुसार पुलवामामध्ये अचन भागात राहणारे संजय शर्मा रविवारी काही कामासाठी बाजारात जात होते. यादरम्यान दहशतवाद्यांनी त्यांच्यावर हल्ला केला. या हल्ल्यात ते जखमी झाले. स्थानिक लोकांनी पोलिसांच्या मदतीने त्याला रुग्णालयात नेले, मात्र त्याला वाचवता आले नाही.
\nदहशतवाद्यांनी या अगोदर शुक्रवारी रात्री देखील आसिफ अली यांच्यावर हल्ला केला होता. आसिफ अली नमाज अदा करून मशिदीतून परत येत होते. यावेळी दहशतवाद्यांनी त्यांना घेरले. बिजबिहारा भागातील हसनपोरा तवेला येथे दहशतवाद्यांनी त्यांना गोळ्या घालून जखमी केले. जखमी अवस्थेत त्यांना रुग्णालयात दाखल करण्यात आले.
\nजखमीचे वडील अली मोहम्मद गनई हे पोलिसात हेड कॉन्स्टेबल होते. २९ जानेवारी २०२२ रोजी मशिदीबाहेर दहशतवाद्यांनी त्यांची गोळ्या झाडून हत्या केली.
