\nअंबरनाथ उड्डाणपुलावर शुक्रवारी सायंकाळी पूर्व भागातून पश्चिमेकडे शिवसेनेच्या नगर परिषद निवडणुकीच्या महिला उमेदवार किरण चौबे आपल्या कारने सभेसाठी चालल्या होत्या. यावेळी वाहन चालकाचे कारवरील नियंत्रण सुटल्याने त्याने समोरून येणाऱ्या तीन दुचाकींना जोरदार धडक दिली. यानंतर एक दुचाकीस्वार थेट उड्डाणपुलाखाली फेकला गेला. कार चालकाला हृदयविकाराचा धक्का आल्यामुळे त्याचे गाडीवरील नियंत्रण सुटल्याचा प्राथमिक अंदाज पोलिसांनी वर्तवला आहे. अपघातावेळी कार चालकाचा पाय अॅक्सिलरेटर दाबलेल्या अवस्थेत अडकला होता. \nशिवसेना उमेदवाराने काय सांगितलं?
\nपोलिसांना दिलेल्या जबाबात किरण चौबे म्हणाल्या की, गाडी पुलावरून जात असताना चालक लक्ष्मण शिंदे यांना एक फोन आला. फोनवर बोलत असतानाच अचानक त्यांनी बोलणे थांबवले. त्यावर आपण शिंदेंशी काही बोलण्यापूर्वीच, चौबेंना दिसले की चालकाचा पाय अॅक्सिलरेटरवर जोरदार दाबला गेला होता. त्यामुळे गाडी अनियंत्रित होऊन वेगाने पुढे जात राहिली आणि अपघात झाला.
\nया अपघातात कार चालक लक्ष्मण शिंदे यांच्यासह अंबरनाथ पालिकेचे दोन कर्मचारी शैलेश जाधव, चंद्रकांत अनर्थे आणि एक पादचारी सुमित चेलानी या व्यक्तीचा मृत्यू झाला. तीन जण जखमी असून किरण चौबे देखील किरकोळ जखमी झाल्या आहेत. सध्या या प्रकरणाचा अधिक तपास अंबरनाथ पोलीस करत आहेत. Ambernath Accident |
