रोहित पवार यांनी ट्विट केले आहे की,’आळंदीमध्ये संतश्रेष्ठ ज्ञानेश्वर माऊलींच्या पालखी प्रस्थानाच्यावेळी वारकऱ्यांवर पोलिसांनी केलेल्या लाठीहल्ल्याचा तीव्र निषेध! वारीच्या परंपरेत पहिल्यांदाच अशी दुर्दैवी घटना घडली. राजकीय फायद्यासाठी वापर करण्यात येणारे काही बोगस वारकरी या सोहळ्यात घुसल्याने खऱ्या वारकऱ्यांवर अन्याय झाला आणि त्याविरोधात आवाज उठवणाऱ्या वारकऱ्यांवर लाठीहल्ला करण्याचं पाप या सरकारने केलं. भक्तपरंपरेचा हा सोहळा राजकारणापासून दूर ठेवण्यासाठी सरकारने बोगस वारकऱ्यांना आधी दूर ठेवण्याची गरज आहे. नियोजनाच्या नावाखाली मंदिरामध्ये सामान्य वारकऱ्यांना येऊ दिल जात नसल्याचं आज मीही पाहिलं, त्याचं राजकारण करायचं नाही, पण आता हे अति होतंय. शिवाय लाठीचार्ज केलेले हे वारकरी हिंदू नाही का? हे कथित हिंदुत्त्ववादी राज्य सरकारने सांगावं.. अशी घटना विरोधी पक्षाचं सरकार असताना घडली असती तर भाजपने आणि त्यांच्या कथित अध्यात्मिक आघाडीने तांडव केलं असतं. शिवाय केवळ राजकारणासाठी अध्यात्माचा वापर करणाऱ्यांना अध्यात्माची खरी संस्कृती कशी कळणार? हाही प्रश्न आहेच.’
\nदरम्यानमी, या सोहळ्यात अशा प्रकारची ही पहिलीच घटना असून, सरकारने ही बाब गांभीर्याने घ्यावी. या प्रकरणाची सखोल चौकशी करुन दोषींवर कडक कारवाई करावी, अशी मागणी विधानसभेचे विरोधी पक्षनेते अजित पवार यांनी केली.
