इंदिरा गांधींच्या काळात दुसरी ‘व्होट चोरी’ –
\nदुसऱ्या प्रसंगात शाह यांनी इंदिरा गांधींच्या रायबरेली निवडणुकीचा उल्लेख केला. ते म्हणाले, “इंदिरा गांधी यांनी रायबरेलीतून निवडणूक जिंकली. मात्र, अलाहाबाद उच्च न्यायालयाने निवडणुकीत अनियमितता झाल्याचे मान्य करत त्यांच्या विरोधात निकाल दिला. हीदेखील एक मोठी व्होट चोरी होती.” या ‘व्होट चोरी’वर पांघरूण घालण्यासाठी नंतर संसदेत कायदा आणला गेला की, पंतप्रधानांवर कोणताही खटला दाखल होऊ शकत नाही, यावर राहुल गांधींचे काय मत आहे, असा सवालही शाह यांनी उपस्थित केला.
\nसोनिया गांधींच्या काळात तिसरी ‘व्होट चोरी’-
\nतिसऱ्या प्रसंगात अमित शाह यांनी सोनिया गांधींच्या नागरिकत्वाचा मुद्दा उपस्थित केला. “योग्यता नसतानाही मतदार झाल्याचा प्रकार त्यांच्या काळात झाला. सोनिया गांधी देशाच्या नागरिक होण्यापूर्वीच मतदार बनल्या होत्या,” असे ते म्हणाले. हा वाद सध्या दिल्ली न्यायालयात पोहोचल्याचेही त्यांनी सांगितले.
\nदरम्यान, लोकसभेत विशेष सधन पुनरीक्षण (SIR) या विषयावर बोलत असताना केंद्रीय गृहमंत्री अमित शाह यांना रोखून काँग्रेसचे नेते राहुल गांधी यांनी कथित ‘मत चोरी’च्या आरोपांवर थेट वादविवाद करण्याचे आव्हान दिले होते. यानंतर संसदेत भाजप आणि काँग्रेसच्या नेत्यांमध्ये जोरदार शाब्दिक चकमक उडाली आणि वातावरण चांगलेच तापले.
