तसेच गोयल यांच्या परदेश दौऱ्यांवरही बंदी घालण्यात आली होती. परंतु त्यानंतर न्यायालयानं त्यांना परदेशात जाण्याची परवानगी दिली होती. 1992 मध्ये स्थापन करण्यात आलेल्या जेट एअरवेजच्या बोर्डावरुन नरेश गोयल आणि त्यांच्या पत्नीने गेल्या वर्षी मार्च महिन्यात राजीनामा दिला होता. नरेश गोयल चेअरमन पदावरुनही पायउतार झाले होते. कॉर्पोरेट व्यवहार मंत्रालयाच्या चौकशी अहवालात मोठ्या प्रमाणावर गैरव्यवहार असल्याचे आढळले होते. 17 एप्रिल रोजी जेट एअरवेज पूर्णपणे ठप्प पडली.
