अपघातानंतर केंद्रीय मंत्री जितेंद्र सिंह यांनीही या घटनेबाबत ‘एक्स’ वर पोस्ट केली. “मी उधमपूरचे डेप्युटी कमिशनर मिंगा शेरपा यांच्याशी चर्चा केली आहे. त्यांनी माहिती दिली की बचावकार्य वेळेत सुरू करण्यात आले असून जखमींना योग्य उपचार दिले जात आहेत. या घटनेची माहिती मिळताच मी तातडीने प्रशासनाशी संपर्क साधला. गंभीर जखमींना उपचारासाठी ‘एअरलिफ्ट’ (विमानाने नेणे) केलं जाऊ शकते, जेणेकरून त्यांना जम्मू-काश्मीरबाहेरील मोठ्या रुग्णालयांमध्ये उपचार मिळतील”, असे जितेंद्र सिंह यांनी सांगितले.
