देशभरात महाराष्ट्र, दिल्ली आणि तमिळनाडू या राज्यांमध्ये सर्वाधिक रुग्ण आहेत. या राज्यांमध्ये अनुक्रमे १ लाख ५२ हजार ७६५, ७७ हजार २४० आणि ७४ हजार ६२२ रुग्णांची नोंद झाली आहे. भारतीय वैद्यकीय संशोधन संस्थेने दिलेल्या माहितीनुसार, आत्तापर्यंत ७९ लाख ९६ हजार ७०७ करोना चाचण्या करण्यात आल्या. गेल्या २४ तासांत २ लाख २० हजार ४७९ नमुना चाचण्या करण्यात आल्याचे शनिवारी आरोग्यमंत्र्यांनी सांगितले.
