\nदरम्यान, उत्तराखंड मधील ऋषीकेश-बद्रिनाथ राष्ट्रीय महामार्गावर झालेल्या भूस्खलनामुले भाविकांची मोटार दरीत कोसळल्याने तीन जणांचा मृत्यू झाला आहे. या मोटारीमध्ये एकूण ११ जण होते त्यापैकी पाच जणांना वाचविण्यात यश आले असल्याची माहिती राज्य आपत्ती प्रतिसाद दलाच्या वतीने देण्यात आली. दिल्ली आणि गुरुग्रामसह उत्तरेकडील राज्यांतील अनेक शहरांत रविवारी रस्त्यांवर पाणी आल्यामुळे वाहतूक विस्कळित झाली असून, अनेक वाहने अडकून पडली आहेत. रेल्वेच्या वाहतुकीवर देखील मुसळधार पावसाचा परिणाम झाला आहे. उत्तर रेल्वे प्रशासनाच्या वतीने देण्यात आलेल्या माहितीनुसार, रविवारी १७ रेल्वे गाड्या रद्द करण्यात आल्या, तर १२ रेल्वे गाड्यांचे मार्ग बदलण्यात आले.

तर तिकडे मुसळधार पावसामुळे जम्मू-काश्मीर, लडाख आणि हिमाचल प्रदेशमधील अनेक शहरांना रेड अलर्ट जारी करण्यात आला आहे. त्यासोबतच पंजाब आणि हरियानामधील अनेक शहरांमध्ये रविवारी मुसळधार पावसामुळे जनजीवन विस्कळित झाले. हरियानामध्ये मार्कंडा, घग्गर आणि टांगरी या नद्यांच्या पाणीपातळीत वाढ झाल्याने सरकारच्या वतीने पूरनियंत्रण कक्षांची स्थापना करण्यात आली आहे. गुरुग्राम येथे मुसळधार पावसामुळे रस्त्यावर पाणी साचल्याने येथील वाहतुकीवर परिणाम झाला. राजस्थान आणि उत्तर प्रदेशातील अनेक शहरांतही मुसळधार पाऊस झाला असून काही शहरांना रेड अलर्ट तर काही शहरांना यलो अलर्ट जारी करण्यात आला आहे.
