अमेरिकेच्या एका मासिकाने दिलेल्या वृत्तानुसार, पाकिस्तानला जितकी एफ-16 विमाने दिली होती ती जशीच्या तशी शाबूत असल्याचे म्हंटले होते. अमेरिकेच्या संरक्षण विभागातील दोन वरीष्ठ अधिकाऱ्यांनी ही माहिती दिली असल्याचे वृत्त अमेरिकन मासिकाने प्रसारीत केले होते. त्यानंतर काल पाकिस्तानचे पंतप्रधान इम्रान खान यांनी याच वृत्ताचा आधार घेत भारतावर आरोप केले होते.
