हेमा मालिनी यांना भाजपने मथुरा मतदारसंघातून लोकसभेची उमेदवारी जाहीर केली आहे. यापूर्वी हेमा मालिनी यांनी प्रचाराची सुरुवात मथुरेतील गोवर्धन परिसरातील एका शेतातून केली होती. यावेळी हेमा मालिनी यांनी शेतातील गहू कापण्यास शेतकऱ्यांची मदत केली होती. त्यावेळी कापलेल्या गव्हाच्या पेंढ्याही हेमा मालिनी यांनी स्वतः उचलून बाजूला ठेवल्या होत्या. त्यानंतर आज पुन्हा हेमा मालिनी ट्रॅक्टर चालवताना दिसत असल्यामुळे हेमा मालिनी यांच्या या अनोख्या प्रचाराची सध्या सर्वत्र चर्चा सुरु आहे.
