\nकाँग्रेस अध्यक्ष मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे यांनी आपल्या देशवासियांना २०२६ च्या नवीन वर्षाच्या शुभेच्छा देणारे पत्र लिहिले. हे पत्र सोशल मीडियावर शेअर करताना त्यांनी, “प्रिय देशवासियांनो, या शुभ नवीन वर्षाच्या तुम्हा सर्वांना हार्दिक शुभेच्छा. आपण हे वर्ष दुर्बल घटकांच्या हक्कांचे रक्षण करण्यासाठी एक जनआंदोलन बनवूया: काम करण्याचा अधिकार, मतदानाचा अधिकार आणि सन्माननीय जीवन जगण्याचा अधिकार. आपल्या संविधानाचे आणि लोकशाही मूल्यांचे रक्षण करण्यासाठी, नागरिकांना सक्षम करण्यासाठी आणि समाजात सुसंवाद बळकट करण्यासाठी एकत्र काम करूया.”असे लिहिले.
मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे पुढे म्हणाले,”तरुणांसाठी रोजगार, महिलांसाठी सुरक्षितता, शेतकऱ्यांसाठी समृद्धी, उपेक्षितांसाठी आदर आणि सर्वांसाठी चांगले राहणीमान हा आपला सामान्य संकल्प असावा. येणारे वर्ष तुम्हा सर्वांना आनंद, समृद्धी आणि प्रगती घेऊन येवो. नवीन वर्षाच्या शुभेच्छा”
