याशिवाय काँग्रेसचे प्रवक्ते रणदीप सुरजेवाला (Randeep Surjewala) यांनीही या वृत्ताचा उल्लेख करत ट्विट केले आहे. मागील १७ दिवसांमध्ये ११ शेतकरी बांधवांच्या मृत्यूनंतरही मोदी सरकारला दया येत नाही. सरकार अजूनही अन्नदात्यांसोबत नव्हेतर धनदांडग्यांसोबत का उभी आहे? अशी टीका त्यांनी केली आहे.

दरम्यान, आंदोलनामुळे निर्माण झालेली कोंडी फोडण्यासाठी मोदी सरकारने शेतकरी नेत्यांशी चर्चेची प्रक्रिया सुरू केली. सरकारकडून कृषी कायद्यांमध्ये बदलाची तयारी दाखवण्यात आली. मात्र, त्याबाबतचे प्रस्ताव कायदे मागे घेण्याच्या मागणीवर ठाम असलेल्या शेतकरी नेत्यांनी फेटाळून लावले. त्यामुळे दोन्ही बाजूंची चर्चा ठप्प झाल्याचे चित्र आहे. आता सरकारकडून पुन्हा चर्चेची तयारी दाखवण्यात आली आहे. तर देशात लागू केलेल्या तीनही कृषी कायद्यांना भारतीय किसान युनीयनने सर्वोच्च न्यायालयात आव्हान दिले आहे.
\nसिंघू सीमेवरून निदर्शक राजधानीत घुसू नयेत म्हणून मोठा बंदोबस्त तैनात करण्यात आला आहे. तेथे तैनात करण्यात आलेल्या दोन उपायुक्त दर्जाच्या पोलिस अधिकाऱ्यांना करोनाची बाधा झाल्याने विलगीकरणात ठेवण्यात आले आहे. दरम्यान 14 डिसेंबरला भाजपा नेते, मंत्री आणि कार्यालयांना घेराव घालण्याचे आवाहन शेतकरी संघटनांनी केले आहे.
