मनसेकडून प्रत्युत्तर: ‘जात-धर्माचा भेद कशाला?’
\nशेलार यांच्या टिकेला मनसे नेते संदीप देशपांडे यांनी प्रत्युत्तर दिले. “आमच्या दृष्टीने दुबार मतदार म्हणजे दुबार मतदारच, तो हिंदू, मुस्लिम किंवा कुठल्याही धर्माचा आणि जातीचा नाही. आशिष शेलार आमच्या मताशी सहमत झाले असतील, तर त्यांनी आमच्या सत्याच्या मोर्चात सामील व्हायला पाहिजे होते, जो निवडणूक आयोगाविरोधात होता,” असे देशपांडे म्हणाले. शेलार यांना मतदारांमध्येही जात दिसली, अशी टीकाही त्यांनी केली.
शेलार यांनी दुबार मतदारांचा मुद्दा उपस्थित केल्याने आता दुबार मतदार हा आगामी विधानसभा निवडणुकीतील एक महत्त्वाचा आणि विवादास्पद मुद्दा बनण्याची चिन्हे आहेत.
