माहितीनुसार, भोपाळ रेल्वे स्थानकातील प्लॅटफॉर्म क्र. ३ वरील फुटओव्हर पुलाचा काही भाग कोसळला. या घटनेची माहिती मिळताच रेल्वे प्रशासनाचे अधिकारी आणि पोलीस घटनास्थळी दाखल झाले. बचावकार्य सुरु असून जखमींना उपचारासाठी रुग्णालयात दाखल करण्यात आले आहे.
