या स्पर्धेच्या इतिहासात यंदा भारताने 80 पदके मिळवत इतिहास रचला आहे. त्यात 18 सुवर्ण पदकांचा समावेश आहे. भारताने 2018 च्या इंडोनेशियामधील जकार्ता येथे झालेल्या स्पर्धेत 72 पदके जिंकली होती. ती कामगिरी यंदा भारताने मागे टाकली. भारताने आतापर्यंत 18 सुवर्ण, 23 रौप्य तर, 39 ब्रॉंझ अशी एकूण 80 पदके मिळवली आहेत.
