\nशरमन यांनी संपूर्ण कुटुंबाच्या वतीने कार्डिओलॉजिस्ट डॉ. नितीन गोखले (Dr. Nitin Gokhale) आणि इंटरवेंशनल कार्डिओलॉजिस्ट डॉ. रविंदर सिंह राव (Dr. Ravinder Singh Rao) यांचे विशेष आभार मानले. त्यांच्या प्रभावी उपचार आणि वेळेवर दिलेल्या आश्वासनामुळे ही प्रक्रिया यशस्वी झाली आणि आता प्रेम चोप्रा यांची प्रकृती खूपच सुधारली आहे, असे शरमन यांनी नमूद केले.

\n९० वर्षांचे असूनही प्रेम चोप्रा आजही चित्रपटसृष्टीत सक्रिय आहेत. सहा दशकांहून अधिक काळ चाललेल्या त्यांच्या कारकिर्दीत त्यांनी ३८० हून अधिक चित्रपटांमध्ये काम केले आहे. आजही त्यांना हिंदी सिनेमातील सर्वात प्रभावी आणि यादगार खलनायकांपैकी एक म्हणून ओळखले जाते.
आरोग्याच्या समस्येपूर्वीही ते कार्यरत होते. २०२४ ची वेब सिरीज ‘शोटाइम’ (Showtime) आणि रणबीर कपूरच्या ‘ॲनिमल’ (Animal) या चित्रपटात ते महत्त्वाच्या भूमिकेत दिसले होते. ज्येष्ठ अभिनेत्याच्या प्रकृतीत सुधारणा झाल्यामुळे त्यांचे चाहते आणि कुटुंबियांनी मोठा सुटकेचा श्वास घेतला आहे.
