\nआशा भोसले यांनी २० हून अधिक भाषांमध्ये १२,००० हून अधिक गाणी गायली. ‘पिया तू अब तो आजा’, ‘दम मारो दम’, ‘ये मेरा दिल’ आणि ‘चुरा लिया है तुमने’ यांसारख्या गाण्यांनी त्यांनी अनेक पिढ्यांचे मनोरंजन केले. त्यांच्या महान कार्यासाठी त्यांना दादासाहेब फाळके पुरस्कार, पद्मविभूषण, राष्ट्रीय चित्रपट पुरस्कार आणि फिल्मफेयर अशा बऱ्याच पुरस्कारांनी सन्मानित करण्यात आले होते.
